Martín Gómez Platero at Los Notables

On September 27th, we were invited to a new edition of the journalistic program "Los Notables," broadcasted on Channel 11 from Punta del Este, Uruguay. On this occasion, journalist Diego Fischer and our director, Martín Gómez Platero, delved into the project development processes and the Studio's vision on "Making City."

The interview covered various topics, including the bond Martín formed with Punta del Este since his youth, influenced by his father's work. This early connection deeply influenced his passion for design and architecture. 

His academic background, early career in the sector, the working methodology adopted by the Studio, and his vision for a future urban development that preserves the area's historical resort characteristics were also explored. 

Regarding the projects managed by the Studio in Maldonado, Uruguay, as well as in the rest of Latin America, Martín Gomez Platero stated: "Architecture is a collective discipline. The key to managing the current workload of the Studio is having an amazing team like ours, with more than 200 talented individuals who could work anywhere in the world. I am a big fan of delighting our clients, and for that, the team is key."
