On June 11, the third edition of GP Talks Sessions took place at Punto Baja Calle in Bogotá, opening a new opportunity for dialogue and reflection on the strategic role of architecture as a fundamental integrator for the overall success of contemporary real estate developments.

The event brought together experts and industry leaders who discussed the importance of involving specialized stakeholders from the earliest stages of Real Estate development, aiming to ensure the comprehensive success of projects.

Julián Dos Santos, Business Development Manager of Gómez Platero in Colombia; Paola García, Executive Director of Colcapital, Marcela Ochoa, Trade Officer at the British Embassy in Colombia and Ricardo Boada, VP of Business Development at Yellowstone Capital Partners, who contributed their respective experiences and perspectives. Moderated by Julián Dos Santos, the session particularly addressed the importance of forming multidisciplinary teams from the outset, emphasizing that specialized roles—architects focused on design, financial experts on economic structuring, and builders on execution—enable more informed and accurate decision-making.

The central theme of the discussion was the current trend of avoiding situations where developers assume multiple roles simultaneously, as this can lead to inefficient decisions due to a lack of specialized information. Instead, the importance of involving specific experts from the beginning was highlighted, resulting in stronger, more profitable, and successful projects.

During the session, successful case studies were presented to illustrate how the early integration of key stakeholders—architecture, finance, and construction—helps optimize outcomes, improve profitability, and ensure architectural and urban quality in developments.

Finally, the fundamental role of architecture as an integrator between design, financial modeling, and execution was emphasized, highlighting that a comprehensive vision from the outset is crucial for achieving successful and sustainable real estate projects over time.

With this third edition in Bogotá, GP Talks Sessions reaffirms its commitment to creating spaces for dialogue that promote a collaborative, specialized, and strategic vision of contemporary urban development.
