Muaré is a mixed-use complex in Guatemala City that integrates commercial, corporate, and residential spaces within a contemporary architectural ensemble. Its design is characterized by interspersed green areas, dynamic public spaces, and careful integration with the urban environment, promoting a sustainable lifestyle closely connected to the city.

Strategically located in Guatemala City, Muaré presents itself as a project that redefines the urban experience through an innovative architectural proposal sensitive to its context. The complex consists of a two-level commercial podium, above which rise two independent towers, each 13 stories high. In their lower levels, both structures accommodate corporate spaces and amenity areas that open onto a generous green terrace situated atop the commercial volume, creating an urban oasis that encourages social interaction and collective enjoyment.
The residential program occupies the upper levels, offering a total of 215 apartments with varied typologies of 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms. These residential units are enhanced by spacious balconies and terraces that extend interior spaces outward, fostering a fluid exchange with the surrounding urban landscape. Thus, Muaré proposes new ways of living, where daily life merges seamlessly with panoramic city views and nature integrated within the building itself.

The project occupies a privileged site covering half a city block, with frontages on three streets, establishing an active and permeable dialogue with its immediate surroundings. At the client's request, the design establishes a direct visual and spatial relationship with the Quo building, developed by the same group and located directly across the street. This connection is realized through an open public space that links the urban level with an active podium, creating an axis of social and commercial interaction that strengthens urban continuity and vitality in the area.
Muaré demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency by incorporating diverse passive design strategies that significantly reduce the building's energy demand. Strategic orientation and the integration of vegetation at multiple levels optimize the complex's environmental performance without relying solely on mechanical systems.
Muaré represents a comprehensive proposal defined by contemporary design, promoting a more conscious and connected urban lifestyle in harmony with its immediate context.
