Situated in the vibrant neighborhood of Pocitos Nuevo in Montevideo, Uruguay, the Bustamante project is an ambitious mixed-use development that spans over nine urban lots, totaling 19 600m².
This innovative project is designed to transform the urban landscape of Pedro Bustamante street, creating a harmonious balance between lucrative investment opportunities and significant enhancements to the urban fabric. Its strategic location near key attractions such as Montevideo Shopping and the World Trade Center complex further amplifies its appeal.
Architecturally, the project is anchored by a 7-meter high base that seamlessly extends the public realm to the street, effectively removing physical boundaries and fostering a sense of integration with the surrounding community. Rising from this base are two distinct towers designated for hotel and residential use. These structures are meticulously designed to blend with the urban setting, maximizing scenic views while minimizing their visual footprint on the skyline.
Sustainability is a cornerstone of the Bustamante project, with a deliberate focus on the buildings' orientation to harness natural light and promote cross-ventilation, alongside the integration of green spaces to enhance the environmental quality. This approach aims to strike a careful balance between the density of construction and the preservation of open spaces, thereby enriching residents' quality of life and promoting vibrant interactions between the public and private realms.
The Bustamante project represents a comprehensive vision that merges urban design and architectural excellence, aiming to contribute positively to the urban tapestry of Montevideo.
