Great Place to Work™ unveiled its annual Best Workplaces in Uruguay™ 2026 ranking, an initiative that recognizes organizations that are raising the standard of workplace culture and shaping the future of work in the country.
In this edition, 50 organizations from more than 30 industries were recognized across three categories based on team size: 10 to 50 employees, 51 to 300 employees, and more than 300 employees. Within this context, Gómez Platero achieved 10th place in the 51 to 300 employees category, a distinction that reflects the positive assessment of those who are part of the organization and the sustained effort invested in building a high-quality workplace experience.
The ranking is based on the voices of thousands of employees across the country, as well as on an assessment of the organizational practices that shape their workplace experience. In this sense, the recognized organizations share key traits: they place people at the center of their strategy, build sustainable cultures over time, foster conscious leadership, and create For All™ workplace experiences.
This recognition goes beyond the result itself. It reflects a way of working and building teams, grounded in the belief that collective growth is supported by trust, respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement. At Gómez Platero, that path is built every day alongside a team committed to creating value, exceeding expectations, and working with efficiency, effectiveness, and creativity.
A recognition that underscores the value of organizational culture
Being a Great Place to Work-Certified™ company means having a positive, high-trust organizational culture validated through the direct perceptions of employees. It is a globally recognized, data-backed distinction that helps identify and showcase organizations that create work environments where people feel valued, heard, and supported in their development.
Its relevance is multifaceted. On the one hand, it strengthens talent attraction, since certified companies are 15 times more likely to be chosen by people seeking new career opportunities. At the same time, these organizations show higher retention levels and stronger performance indicators, while employees are 38% more likely to envision their long-term professional future within the company.
In addition, certification reinforces credibility and employer brand positioning by demonstrating to stakeholders that the culture is rooted in fairness, respect, and support for people. It also provides valuable insights for continuous improvement, as the process offers detailed data on the employee experience and enables leaders to identify opportunities to further strengthen the organization.
For Gómez Platero, this distinction reaffirms an ongoing commitment to building an environment where people can develop, grow as a team, and create value through a shared culture.
