GP at the MUSE Design Awards 2022

On October 17th, the winners of the latest edition of the MUSE Creative and Design Awards were announced. This international competition, organized by the International Awards Associative (IAA), celebrates the creativity of designers and architects worldwide, whose work shifts paradigms and pushes the boundaries of the creative industries towards new horizons.

With over 6,000 projects submitted from around the globe, the 2022 MUSE Design Awards recognized and honored the best projects of the year in product design, spatial design, and international art.

In our first entry into this contest, GP won the silver award with the "World Pandemic Memorial: a tribute space to life and nature."

The project, proposing a new urban space aimed at reflection and deep connection with nature, was also highlighted in other international contests such as the International Architecture Awards 2021 and Dezeen Awards for its simple yet powerful design, the immersive experience it creates, and its environmentally impact-free construction style.

Regarding this new achievement, Martín Gómez Platero, director and founder of the studio, commented, "For us as a team, continuing to receive accolades of this caliber confirms the good decision we made when we asked ourselves, in the midst of the pandemic, how we could contribute our bit. A space for human beings to realize that we are not the center of the ecosystem in which we live; that place is, and will always be, nature's."
