We propose a new approach to the development of vertical housing in Latin America. This project aims to raise a debate on the models of rent and sale established by the real estate market through a building that seeks flexibility, resilience, quality public space and to generate experiences.
Design exercise developed for the 2018 edition of Disruption Days, an international event that is a laboratory for innovation in real estate that seeks to generate new business concepts applicable to the Latin American region, integrate the best international practices, encourage debate among participants, give rise to new conceptual values of real estate and learn about global innovation practices that can be applied in Latin America.
The project proposed by GP is a reaction to a cultural paradigm shift that puts experience above property and transforms it into value. In order to induce these experiences, we are committed to strengthening public spaces by making public areas protagonists and platforms for transformations that increase the value of the whole.
The proposal is a flexible rental and sales model that takes into account the willingness of users to modify their levels of privacy in order to have a meaningful living experience. This plan means that the developers do not have to opt for one model or another, but rather by combining them in an intelligent fashion, they can better satisfy the needs of the market.
