Santa Cruz Tower is envisioned as a distinctive, emblematic mixed-use development for the city’s skyline. It is located in a privileged sector of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, near an extensive green area that borders the Piraí River.
The proposal consists of a building composed of a tower and a podium. The lower volume aligns in height with neighboring constructions to integrate smoothly into its surroundings, characterized by low-density residential buildings. It accommodates the mixed program—shopping center, residential, hotel and clinic—in two curved bodies, orienting their activities toward an open internal atrium enriched with vegetation and reflecting pools: a “lobby plaza” that extends over three levels, amplifying the experience of the commercial promenade.
On the central axis, facing the avenue, the corporate tower is positioned as the visible face of the complex and as the main point of access. It is composed of two elements: the interior vertical core, which contains circulation and services, connecting 25 levels of an elliptical, column-free and flexible floor plate; and the external cylinder, corresponding to the glazed façade, which on one side generates a multi-height space that facilitates the building’s natural ventilation.
