Martin Gomez Platero took part in the first Líderes Empresariales meeting, held at Laguna del Sauce International Airport, in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

On April 8, Laguna del Sauce International Airport, in Punta del Este, Uruguay, hosted the first meeting of Líderes Empresariales, a national initiative that will travel across the country’s 19 departments throughout 2026 to strengthen the productive ecosystem, promote professionalization, and bring leadership tools to business leaders and students.
The event featured Maldonado mayor Miguel Abella and Willy Ihlenfeld, president of the Maldonado Business Chamber. It was followed by the main keynote by Enrique Baliño, founder of XN Partners, titled “What do good leaders do?”, focused on leadership and decision-making in real-world contexts.
The closing panel included Martin Gomez Platero, Pablo Marqués, and Analía Suárez, who shared real experiences related to organizational growth, professionalization, and strategic decision-making. The event was part of an initiative led by Grupo CEO, together with business associations from across the country and supported by XN Partners, DESEM Junior Achievement Uruguay, the Chamber of Commerce and Services of Uruguay, the Maldonado Departmental Government, the Departmental Board, and local stakeholders linked to youth development and business growth.
A national initiative connecting leadership, business, and territory
The 2026 edition of Líderes Empresariales aims to to expand its reach across Uruguay through open conferences, exchange spaces, and meetings with leading voices from the business and productive sectors. The initiative seeks to create impact both among business leaders and decision-makers, as well as secondary school students, by promoting leadership tools, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial development.
With the support of public institutions, business chambers, and organizations focused on youth development, the cycle is expected to reach more than 10,000 people throughout the year. Its approach combines inspiration, training, and connection among diverse stakeholders, with the goal of strengthening the competitiveness of Uruguayan companies and opening up new opportunities for future generations of leaders.
