GP Wins the Remeros Beach International Architecture Competition
Gómez Platero Architecture & Urbanism has been selected as the winner of the Remeros Beach International Architecture Competition in Tigre, Argentina. The competition brought together leading studios and professionals, establishing “Hábitat” as the next residential landmark in the area.

The call for entries was organized by Alessandro Torres Suar, Milagros Britos, and Matías Massotti, and featured the participation of renowned Argentine firms such as Aisenson Arquitectos and BMA, which elevated both the level of the competition and the prestige of the event.
The competition was held with the aim of selecting the best proposal for “Hábitat,” a new residential development within Remeros Beach—a 17-hectare real estate project that is positioning itself as a new paradigm in the region’s real estate market. The selected proposal stands out for its innovative vision and comprehensive approach, seeking to redefine the living experience in a contemporary environment that is sensitive and connected to what is essential.
The winning design is conceived between the lagoon and the river, embracing the landscape and creating pathways that connect with three fundamental pillars: a life oriented toward well-being, community living, and contact with nature. These concepts are brought to life in spaces that care for the body, stimulate the mind, and promote serenity, while also encouraging interaction, collaboration, and bonds among residents. Nature, with water as the central element, envelops the project and establishes an essential connection with the transcendent.
Every design decision turns “Hábitat” into a platform that connects the personal with the collective, the intimate with the open, and the physical with the emotional. The proposal is completed with a serene aesthetic, the use of noble materials, and invisible technology, offering a contemporary framework for an active and fulfilling adulthood. “Hábitat” redefines the future of living, proposing an environment where daily life is enriched and time is celebrated.
One of the main features of Remeros Beach is its impressive 3.5-hectare artificial lagoon, the Crystal Lagoon, surrounded by expansive beaches covering more than 10,000 m². This body of water becomes the main amenity of the urban project and adds significant value to both the development and the daily lives of residents, who enjoy the lagoon and its facilities year-round. In addition, the complex offers three outdoor pools, a nautical club, sports area, gym, and a wide variety of exclusive amenities. The Crystal Lagoon is equipped with umbrellas, lounge chairs, and lifeguards, providing a complete and safe beach experience, as well as opportunities for sports activities that promote a healthy lifestyle.
“Hábitat” at Remeros Beach is establishing itself as a unique residential and urban project, both for its scale and its strategic location in a rapidly growing area of Tigre. The central lagoon is surrounded by various types of housing distributed across three neighborhoods, each with its own style, creating an oasis in the heart of the Tigre area.
