GP awarded at the International Property Awards 2022

During the gala held on February 2 at the Savoy Hotel The Strand in London, the mixed-use project was doubly honored as the "Best Mixed-Use Development in Uruguay" and the "Best Mixed-Use Development in the Americas".

The International Property Awards, an event based in London that annually celebrates the best architectural, real estate, and interior design projects worldwide, held a new edition. The project Cala del Yacht, designed by GP and developed by La Buonora & Asociados, was awarded in the "Mixed-Use Architecture" category.

More than 1000 projects from 100 countries were presented in the latest edition of the International Property Awards, one of the most important and prominent events in the design, architecture, and Real Estate industry. Since its inauguration in 1993, the event has positioned itself as one of the most prestigious international competitions, with a growing number of entries from the world's most important and innovative design and architecture studios.

Cala del Yacht, the 81,102 m² mixed-use project that links residential, corporate, and commercial spaces in a privileged natural environment in Canelones, Uruguay, was awarded in the "Mixed-Use Architecture" category. The jury highlighted the project for its innovative design, its contribution of new services to the area, and its relationship with the local nature.

Regarding this achievement, Martín Gómez Platero, founder and director of the Studio, stated, "This project was conceived as a linking piece that builds relationships between its residents, the community, and the natural landscape. It is a project of which we are very proud, and this new recognition motivates us even more to continue designing and projecting pieces for a better city."
