ELDI Panama 2026 will bring together developers, investment funds, architects, and key industry leaders to explore the trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping Real Estate across the region.
Reading time: 2 minutes
The evolution of Real Estate in Latin America calls for new ways of understanding value. In a context shaped by shifts in investment, demand, technology, and user experience, real estate developments require an increasingly strategic approach: designing with greater precision, integrating key variables from the outset, and creating assets capable of remaining relevant over time.
With this vision, on May 21 and 22, the JW Marriott Panama will host the twelfth edition of the Latin American Real Estate Developers Meeting, ELDI, one of the region’s leading forums for the real estate industry.

The event will bring together more than 350 attendees, representatives from over 18 countries, and more than 20 speakers, with a program featuring conferences, workshops, networking sessions, a live podcast, a real estate tour, and the LADI Awards, which recognize the most outstanding projects in Latin America each year.
Gómez Platero Arquitectura y Urbanismo will participate in two sessions focused on the relationship between architecture, strategy, and real estate value.
On Thursday, May 21, at 10:10 a.m., Santiago Pérez, Business Development Manager at the studio, will present “The Future of Value in Real Estate: Designing the Strategy,” a talk centered on the role of architecture as a strategic tool for generating value in real estate developments.
On Friday, May 22, at 11:30 a.m., Ricardo Fernández, Business Development Manager for the Americas at Gómez Platero, will take part in the workshop “Architecture as an Asset: Design and Value,” which will explore how design can influence a project’s competitiveness, feasibility, and differentiation.

Key Themes at ELDI Panama 2026
The ELDI program will be structured around key topics driving the evolution of Real Estate in Latin America:
• Market evolution: new dynamics in investment, demand, and differentiation across a region in transformation.
• Design and real estate value: architecture as a strategic tool to improve profitability, experience, and project competitiveness.
• Innovation and user experience: spaces capable of creating more meaningful connections between people, brands, and urban environments.
• Regional development: shared opportunities and challenges across Latin America’s leading real estate markets.
• Strategic networking: opportunities designed to connect with decision-makers, developers, funds, and industry leaders.
• Recognition of innovation: the presentation of the LADI Awards, honoring outstanding real estate projects for their design, planning, and impact.
In this context, Gómez Platero’s participation will bring a perspective on how architecture can operate as a platform for value: not only through form, but through strategy, experience, feasibility, and the capacity of projects to respond to new urban and market demands.
